Don't worry: this amazing gingerbread town at Bálna Cultural Center is not conjured by an evil witch, so the visitors won't have to share the misfortunes of Hansel and Gretel, instead, they can admire the excellent craftsmanship and inhale the tempting scent of honey and spices.
The faithful visitors should know that it is kind of a tradition here to make something spectacular out of gingerbread during the winter holidays. In the last few years we could see Jurassic Park, Snowman Town, and even the famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, all built by enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. This year's work of art is an exquisite little town, built by two thousand and five hundred volunteers. Visiting the Gingerbread Town is a perfect family program, not to mention the free ice rink at Bálna Terrace.
