Sleeping Beauty

Dance performance
Budapest, Várkert Bazár, 20 April 2018 10:30
The story of Sleeping Beauty (or, as the Hungarian translation goes, 'Little Briar Rose') will always be popular among children, and now the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble presents it in a special interpretation, drawing it closer to the Hungarian folklore using traditional music and dances to tell this classic tale.
The king and the queen had been waiting for a long time to have a child, and finally little Briar Rose was born. All the good fairies had blessed her, wishing her health, beauty and happiness. A bright future shined ahead of her, but one dark fairy threatened the little girl with a terrible curse. Will she successfully overcome her fate and live happily ever after?
