Matt Damon & Ben Affleck support 'inclusion rider'

This year's Academy Awards ceremony was characterized by campaigns like #metoo and #oscarsowhite. These campaigns are fighting for gender and racial diversity in the film industry.
Stacy Smith, founder and director of the USC Annenberg School for Communication in Southern California, was the first to formulate this initiative called inclusion rider in 2014, and the point was to achieve that the proportion of the people who take part in the production of the movie must be equal to the proportion of people in society. That essentially means that studios should let more female and non-white persons to take part in the production of the movies. Actress Frances McDormand also called the audience's attention to this important initiative when receiving her Oscar this March. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck also make a stand for it with their production company called Pearl Street.
