Swimming with Men
Team sports have various advantages: they preserve good health, they keep you in top form, and you can also win prizes. And they also help to fight mid-life crisis: a handful of chubby British men decide to found an amateur synchronised swimming team.
This film is loosely based on the 2010 documentary 'Men Who Swim', about a real-life synchro-swim team of middle-aged Swedes. The story starts with an enthusiastic group of men who form an unlikely male synchronised swimming team, but after some time they have to realize that they are not making any progress. That’s when accountant Eric joins them, also suffering from a midlife crisis, and as he has a knack for math and swimming he soon boosts the prospects of the team. What started out as a hobby, soon becomes a profession as they are given the possibility to represent their homeland at the world championship held in Milano.

'Swimming with Men' is a heartwarming story about friendship and also about overcoming our complexes and embracing what life brings with good humour.
