Sonic the Hedgehog

The speedy and infantile blue hedgehog gets a new home in a quiet little town of America. Tom the police officer and his wife treat him as their 'foster kid', so Sonic's life seems to be perfect. Until trouble finds him...
One day Sonic’s high-speed, energy-producing running causes a power surge, and after that the Pentagon enlists Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) to investigate the cause. Sonic and Tom (James Marsden) have to team up in order to defend the planet from the evil genius of Dr. Robotnik who has plans for world domination. The film offers an oldschool family-friendly cinema experience, focusing on the atmosphere of the videogame, but the lack of any greater depth limits the possibilities of making it really meaningful to anyone.
