25th International Book Festival Budapest, Millenáris, 19 April 2018 - 22 April 2018
Bookworms can rejoyce as the city's biggest annual event dedicated to books and reading opens its gates and awaits the visitors with lots of programs, special guests and reading materials in different languages. This year's guest of honor will be German author Daniel Kehlmann.

What better place to celebrate this year's Earth Day than the picturesque meadow of the Buda Hills, all flowery and green now that spring starts to have a hold over the landscape. The popular picnic spot and family outing destination is worth a visit every time, but on the 22th of April we can especially go there and remember how important it is to protect our environment.

The second part of our informative series about the ice rinks in Budapest is coming up, this time focusing on the Pest-side. Visiting the ice-rinks of the city is an excellent choice for having fun. Ice-skating is a wonderful outdoor activity, it keeps you in top form, not to mention that mulled wine slips more smoothly after getting some fresh air.

Though winter lasts long, there is no time for being bored, not even after the Christmas Holiday. Visiting the ice-rinks of the city is an excellent choice for having fun. First we would like to present the ice-rinks which can be found at the Buda-side of the city.
On Fridays and Saturdays the metro 2 and 4 circulates until half past midnight from December
Considering that on Fridays and Saturdays more people use the metro even at the latest hours the Centre for Budapest Transport has decided that metro lines M2 and M4 will run according to extended schedule on Friday and Saturday nights.

Summer is still in the air, and there is no one who wouldn't welcome gladly a soothing cone of this delicious, cool material to combat the heat: ice cream is like a universal language, everybody likes it regardless of age and nationality. Fortunately people with diabetes or on a diet can also indulge themselves as there are lots of sugar free versions.
