Björn Borg and John McEnroe were the famous opponents of a tennis match regarded as one of the greatest of all times during the 1980 Wimbledon Championchips.
Although the public couldn't see it but Borg was not in good form when he arrived to Wimbledon. His usual placid countenance (which has earned him the nickname 'Ice-Man') didn't reveale that there was a great pressure on him and he regarded the volatile young John McEnroe as a major obstacle in his pursuit of a record-breaking fifth Wimbledon championship.

We get to know the personalities of the two opponents as they remember their formative childhood memories. In the centre of the film there is the great match itself which is a real nail-biter, and probably even those who know the outcome will find it exciting and fascinating.
