Sherlock Gnomes

'It may come in handy like a garden gnome' goes the saying, and the creators of 'Gnomeo & Juliet' surely agreed on this axiom when they made the first garden gnome movie in 2011, interpreting Shakespeare's classic tale in a rather original way. Now the little painted lovebirds Gnomeo and Juliet return, and they have a serious problem to solve.
The happy couple arrives in London with their friends and family, they settle down and start to discover their new home. The new garden keeps them all very occupied as they want to get it all nice and ready for spring. But soon they'll have other and more important things to worry about: it turns out that somebody is kidnapping garden gnomes all over London. After one day they return home to find their own family missing, there's only one thing to do: they call immediately Sherlock Gnomes, the greatest detective of all. He arrives with his sidekick Watson and starts to investigate the case. Soon they all find themselves involved in the biggest adventure of their lives, followed by dogs, squirrels, rats and maneki nekos (Japanese Lucky Cats). The public can discover an unknown face of London as they follow the story from a special perspective. The director John Stevenson (Kung Fu Panda) and the actors who gave their voice to the characters (Johnny Depp, Emily Blunt, James McAvoy, Michael Caine) are a guarantee of success, not to mention that the original score is composed by Elton John.
