Ant-Man and the Wasp
After two monumental superhero movies ('Black Panther' and 'Avengers') Marvel Studios come back with a smaller and more personal project. Ant-Man and the Wasp is an ideal and family friendly summer movie experience to watch with loads of popcorn while we are waiting for the new 'Avengers' for example.
The story continues shortly after the events depicted in 'Captain America: Civil War'. Scott Lang finds it hard to cope with the consequences of his being both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to re-balance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he's confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp: they will work together to uncover important secrets from their past, but they are hindered by the police and a mysterious ghost-like figure, not to mention a group of gangsters.
This is a playful, good-humoured summer prank from Marvel Studios: the action scenes are really creative and they use all the possibilities lying in the size-changing abilities of the heroes. The narrative is a bit too transparent and the villains can't be taken very seriously but comic fans will undoubtedly value this little gem in the Marvel Universe.
