Victor Crowley
A mysterious creature takes its victims on the marshlands of Louisiana. Unfortunately, nobody believes the only survivor who claims that the relentless killer is Victor Crowley himself, a dangerous monster recently resurrected by mistake.
Although the Hatchet trilogy was not a great cinematographic achievement, the horror-loving part of the audience received it quite well, so scriptwriter-director Adam Green thought it was high time to continue the story and create a sequel.

The narrative starts ten years after the events depicted in the previous movie. Andrew returns to the location of the killings with a handful of people and to his surprise he finds there a bunch of amateur filmmakers and their crew. The monster Victor Crowley is mistakenly resurrected and proceeds to kill once more.

This horror-comedy pays homage to the great classics of the genre but it also works as a parody, exaggerating the gory-bloody scenes and serving a more or less correct B side slasher movie to the audience.
